Cymatics is the study of sound vibration. You may be familiar with videos of sand on a metal plate making shapes when the plate is vibrated by certain frequencies. Do some searching to find out more, including “Ernst Cladni” and “sacred geometry”.
Sound vibration is incredibly powerful and impactful. It does shape matter on all levels. “In the beginning was the Word.” I view Cymatics as a blessing to show us a glimpse into the profound workings of this Universe which we are only beginning to comprehend at this point in human evolution. Think about how music can be so emotional and moving sometimes. You can experience a roller-coaster of emotions and memories in just the few minutes of a song. Think about how you replay the words someone says to you over and over again in your mind; whether kind or less so. And when you play it over in your mind you also hear their tone, inflection and see any related images. Let us not forget that what we say and how we say it can have a similarly powerful affect on others as we see the music affect sand, water, etc — shaping and forming what is and what comes next. Including the things we say to ourselves, inside our own heads.
