Symbiotic union.

Truth:  We are Soul, first and foremost.  We, as Soul, existed before we began this current physical experience and we will continue to exist, as Soul, after we end this current physical experience.

Analogy:  You, (the way you know yourself now) as a house (shelter & protection, dwelling place), or a car (vehicle for motion) or a glove (for form).  Work with me here.  Body is what makes up just one part of how you know yourself at this point; it’s your shell, protection, clothes, vehicle to experience and do in this current physical experience we are all having together.  You go inside it and it serves you and functions for you.  Your Soul (which is really the truth and core of who and what you are) is separate from your physical body, and resides within it — like a house, or a car, or a glove.  Your physical body is a living, breathing thing that functions on it’s own without you telling it to breathe or pump blood, etc.

Soul is inside the physical.  Soul animates Body, like a hand in a glove.  We work together with this separate living, breathing thing (body) as a team.  Life rolls forward a bit more smoothly and Body functions a bit more healthily when we recognize it’s own sovereignty and appreciate it’s current union with us (soul), and honoring this relationship as we work together in harmony.  I will point out that I use the word “harmony” because it indicates the union or combination of things that are not the same, which blend together for a beautiful outcome (like different instruments as part of a symphony).

First, we have to understand this symbiotic relationship.  It may take a while to really understand it, and this really only takes place after you feel it.  At that point it evolves into a knowing, instead just an understanding / comprehension of the idea.  Eckhart Tolle explains this very well in his book, A New Earth.  He guides the reader to still yourself (body and mind) and feel yourself (soul) inside your body.  It’s actually (and remarkably) something you can feel and recognize; but life has us going here and there so fast, and our minds racing so much that we never notice that we never stop to notice subtle things.

Understanding there is a separation allows respect and mutual working together to follow.  It’s simple — allow each entity (Soul & Body) to be sovereign, but working together in harmony as one.

Bliss and Abundance!!!
